Per the State of Colorado, Douglas County is requiring fire arms instructors who instruct concealed carry courses to register with the County. In accordance with this requirement Or Live Tactical Solutions has submitted our paperwork to the County.

Or Live Tactical Solutions instructs to the core curriculum established by the National standard established by the National Rifle Association instructing Certified Pistol.
Per State of Colorado: (abbreviated)
1) INITIAL course provides 8hrs of instruction
2) Included are the following elements:
a) safe handling of fi****ms and ammunition
b) storage and child safety
c) shooting fundamentals
d) federal and state laws pertaining to the lawful purchase, ownership - ect, including article 14.5 of title 13 Colorado Statutes - (https://colorado.public.law/statutes/crs_13-14.5-104), (https://colorado.public.law/statutes/crs_18-12-113), and (https://colorado.public.law/statutes/crs_18-12-114)

f) best practices for interaction with law enforcement responding to an emergency
g) techniques for avoiding a criminal attack and how to manage a violent confrontation, including conflict resolution and judgemental use of force.

1) Refresher course minimum of 2hrs
2) requires students to demonstrate safety and competence with handgun
3) changes to federal and state laws related to fi****ms.
