If federal funding doesn’t resume by Nov. 1, many families will be at risk of facing even more hardship, including losing access to food assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and losing access to some early childhood education programs supported by Head Start. More than 40 million people receive SNAP benefits with children accounting for nearly 40% of all SNAP participants. Nutrition and learning should not be caught in the cross hairs of the shutdown, and we encourage everyone to join us in reaching out to your members of Congress, urging them to reach an agreement that prioritizes our nation's children, families and schools. pta.org/takeaction

It’s that time of year when we come together to show gratitude and give back!

Sterling Park PTA is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive from November 3rd to the 7th to support our very own students and families in need this holiday season. Bins will be located by the blue wall in the auditorium!

The grade with the most participation will have a cookie 🍪 party during lunch!
