Villagers have arrived at Mori no Ike! Yesterday kicked off our official start to the summer season and with that, our campers were able to sing, dance, and dive straight into Japanese immersion. Villagers were able to get settled and meet their fellow campers in their summer home away from home, enjoy a delicious evening meal, and most importantly, start to live the language!

There are still camps with openings this summer so you don’t have to miss out. Visit https://www.concordialanguagevillages.org/sessions?language=Japanese to register today! We hope to see you this summer!

You never know when your language skills will become a critical necessity. Read below about one of our very own who found herself in that very situation.

A Minnesota nurse helped rescue a hiker lost for days — and her Concordia Language Villages experience made all the difference.

She’s not just an alum. She’s one of our Village nurses.

You don’t need to speak another language to work here. But you will gain powerful cross cultural skills that stay with you for life.
