On September 21, we join communities around the world in recognizing the International Day of Peace.

At TMSA, we believe peace begins with respect, understanding, empathy, and the way we treat one another every day. In our classrooms and school communities, we encourage students to listen, learn from different perspectives, resolve differences with kindness, and grow into responsible global citizens.

This occasion also gives us a meaningful opportunity to highlight an important upcoming event in our community: TMSA Peace Forum 2026. (https://www.tmsapeaceforum.org/)

On Friday, October 9, 2026, the TMSA Peace Forum will bring high school students together to explore one of the defining questions of our shared future: Can peace exist without sustainable development? Through dialogue, reflection, and student engagement, the Forum will create space for young people to think deeply about peace, responsibility, and the future they want to build.

The following day, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, the conversation will continue through the TMSA Peace Festival, bringing students, families, and communities together to celebrate peace, understanding, belonging, and community.

As a proud North Carolina school community, we believe in raising a new generation of peace builders—students who are ready to build bridges, strengthen communities, and help shape a better future.

Happy Labor Day to the TMSA family! 🎉

This Labor Day, we're celebrating exciting news: following North Carolina's 2025–26 School Performance Grades, all four TMSA schools showed real academic strength and forward momentum — highlighted by two "A"-rated campuses, strong graduation results, and continued improvement across the system. Just as exciting, our schools' growth scores rose compared to last year, proof that our hard work together is paying off.

This success belongs to all of us — our teachers, support staff, school leaders, families, and students alike. At TMSA, we are truly United in Purpose, and today's results show what that purpose can achieve.
