We may not be quite ready for our own crew team, but this spring we did have a blast learning how to work together as we paddled a 29-ft canoe while observing some of our local waterways. We also learned about some poisonous, venomous, and harmless wildlife you can find in the Piedmont region.

Next month is Mental Health Awareness Month, and to recognize it, our teens will be taking a deeper look at the history of mental health treatment in North Carolina through a walking tour of the former Dix Hill Asylum.
