Where did January go?! The littles are becoming not so little & they are ready for new challenges. February is all about love, awareness of ourselves and others as well as showing kindness to all. Every day I am grateful to be able to play while I work. I’m never growing up! 😉
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning, but for children play IS serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.”

We are back from bringing baby Johnny into this big wide world & we have new friends joining us for learning & play. All smiles here as we practice P for Pumpkins & Pink. And yes, these girlies said we could have pink pumpkins!

Little Oliver is having a blast developing his pincer grasp while learning how to enjoy table foods!
Did you know babies can develop their pincer grasp as early as 9 months old and as late as 12 months old? While most infants manage the palmer grasp well since birth; pincer grasp development is a bit trickier & key to managing feeding oneself, playing with toys & writing/coloring. Lunch time is the perfect time to practice the pincer!

A gorgeous day for the last of the garden prep & some solid outside play. We started our seedlings a few weeks ago & they are ready for planting. Oliver can’t wait to be able to run with Adeline! 😍🌷

We LOVE spending time outside & learning about what Mother Nature can provide. Adeline is helping sort wild violet leaves we harvested from the backyard. Purple tea parties are in the making!
