185,000+ volunteers and missionaries helped to review the names and other information on the census to have it searchable for and published. 4 months for all those pages of census information is totally amazing!!!

Thanks to many volunteers, we have made a lot of progress with the census project. Read how we are accelerating this project and the exciting future for reviewing records.

Things have been so incredibly crazy in the past 6 weeks. I've been doing allot of Family review on the 1950 census. What that does is to make sure that the entire household is grouped together so that when the state is finished and published, everyone that is in the household will be together.

The AI that was used to make this happen so quickly has been quite accurate and very surprising for it's first time. I'm excited to think about the 70% of un-indexed records right now on FamilySearch that will benefit from this technology once FamilySearch has the same AI readers that Ancestry has.

I really love my mission, as if you might have missed that. I really love serving Heavenly Father to help people like you gather your family together and get them one step closer to gather them together on the other side of the veil.

It appears that not everyone knows about the Family History guide. I didn't until about two weeks ago when I was watching a class on doing family history.

This is an amazing site that teaches across the different main family history sites, not just FamilySearch
