"Tim Pearce is a retired cop who has been there, done that, and lived to tell the tale. He’s also invented a device that simulates the effect of a gunshot wound. It’s called Accuracy Under Fire, and once it’s broadly implemented in the ranks of our first responders and soldiers, it’s going to save a lot of lives. As an added bonus, I get to demonstrate the device on Chuck. Suffice it say, it works." -Mike Rowe

I ran into a man I've always admired and respected at IACP 2024. Ken Kollmann, my LAPD academy classmate and our class leader (LAPD Class 3-96). He's a natural-born leader who had a great impact on all of us. He took the lead, took the heat, and brought us together into a cohesive team. It was really nice to catch up with him.
