Connect with us for more information! We seek to embody healing approaches to language teaching and learning that sustain cultures and identities.

At CSUDH, we develop multilingual educators as leaders who create opportunities for PK – 12 students to connect with their home cultures, identities, and languages through critical multilingual praxis. We are a collective group of educators who promote multilingualism as a human right and challenge the impact of colonization and intersecting systems of oppression through our continual development

Are you a Spanish-speaking teacher who needs Bilingual Authorization to teach in a dual language setting? Or, are you already bilingually authorized and are seeking to deepen your praxis? Come learn about our graduate-level Dual Language Learning programs at CSUDH! We will hold an information session on Tuesday, April 30th at 4:30 PM. Click on this link to register for the event and receive the Zoom link: https://bit.ly/CSUDH-DLL

The DLL Certificate program is ideal for practicing teachers who have working knowledge of Spanish (all 4 classes are taught in Spanish!) and are looking to deepen their understanding of dual language education with graduate-level coursework. If teachers also need their Bilingual Authorization (formerly known as the BCLAD), they can earn it within 1 year through the DLL Certificate. Teachers can also do the DLL sequence of coursework as a part if a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

We know that many schools are looking for teachers with Bilingual Authorization so that they can teach in Dual Language programs. This is a great opportunity for those who speak Spanish but do not yet have the Bilingual Authorization!
