Silver State Charter School is a free, public, online distance and on-site education school for students in grades 9-12.
The vision of Silver State Charter Schools is to meet the educational needs of high achieving students who prefer a non-traditional way of learning and also to meet the specific needs of those students who want the one-on-one instruction which does not exist in the traditional setting. WNC's first semester is complete and we couldn't be more proud of our Jump Start students! Congratulations to Mylo McCormick, Allison Rasmussen, and Jesse Leman on a job well done!
These Jump Start students are working hard at the college to concurrently earn high school and college credits. It is hard work but worthwhile. If you think that your student might be a candidate, schedule a meeting with Ms. Perry right away. These students are working on both high school graduation requirements and college credits, at no cost to the family. We have partnered with WNC to expand the options available to students including certifications in various areas.

Sierra is a dedicated student who plans out her work and sets goals for herself. Her teachers have used the following words to describe her: respectful, kind, determined, friendly, hard-working, and sweet.
DJ is a pleasure to have at our school, we enjoy seeing him everyday as his smile will light up a room! His teachers describe him as tenacious, kind, respectful, considerate, willing, and as having a great attitude.

The most common words used when describing Daniel are "kind" and "respectful". Daniel is always willing to help others, he actively participates in his classes, has a friendly attitude, and he is respectful. Daniel is also incredibly respectful, considerate, and helpful.
Soaring Eagles are selected by school staff and peers. Students can become our Soaring Eagle by demonstrating exemplary behavior, a positive attitude, and continuously progressing in their courses.
We are very proud of you, Daniel!! Keep up the great work and continue being a stellar role model. It is obvious you are committed to your education.
