Sidewalk Stargazer

This is pretty cool

Tonight seemed better for the DLSR. Had to merge 2 images and adjust colors. In order to show both planets I had to overexpose Jupiter which allowed me to capture the Jupiter moons as well as Saturn. I used my 127mm telescope with a Nikon D810 and 2x barlow lens.

Saturn and Jupiter are close enough to capture in the same frame. Had to over expose and under expose the images and then combine them. Will try again tomorrow night and hopefully get a better image.

Set up the new observatory and I couldn’t be happier. Just for the solar imaging the observatory is worth the price. Out of the sun while getting some really look images even on windy days.
