Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! As you all know, music education changes lives. The transformative power of music education relies on dedicated, highly trained, and passionate teachers. That's why at Lark, our faculty is made up of the best of the best.

They blush when I call them this, but I really do mean it-- they are the dream team. I am grateful every day to wake up and go to work with these teachers. I have witnessed how, day in and day out, they meet every student where they are and work inch by inch to build confidence, skills, discipline, and a lifelong love of learning.

People sometimes think the best thing about being an educator is the "aha" moments. And those are awesome, don't get me wrong. But the real reward is looking back over months and years with a student and watching them realize how far they themselves have come. Because that life-changing stuff doesn't happen overnight or in a moment. It's all the little moments put together that create lasting transformation.
