North Texas Chess Academy

We would love to invite you to our new Open Play nights at North Texas Chess Academy. Starting Friday, Sep 23rd, from 6:00-10:00pm. These events will be open to Open Play club members as well as students on the Group Class Standard Plan.

Pizza and beverages will be provided on Sep 30th to celebrate yet another opportunity to enjoy and play chess as a community! And yes, it's free!

Awesome day for Private and Group Classes, about 50 players in the Sunday Swiss, cake, prizes, and fun times with great people. Thank you all for your kind words, they mean a lot. I will post more photos from today on the NTCA website.
It was great to see so many including a visit from Wayne and one the worlds top chess players and DFW’s own Jeffery Xiong.

I had a fun last Saturday at NTCA.

I want to say Thank You to all of the chess families and students who have made my 6 1/2 years at NTCA so special. I have decided to sell my majority ownership in NTCA to pursue other opportunities.

I will be at NTCA this Saturday and Sunday with my last day being 9/5.

The 2022 Texas Region III Scholastic Chess Championship earlier this month was a blast! We want to thank all players and families who supported the tournament.
