In Japan, May 5th is Children’s Day. This is a time to celebrate the happiness, growth, and individuality of every child. Traditionally marked with colorful carp streamers (koinobori) swimming in the wind, it symbolizes strength, courage, and the hope that children will grow up healthy and resilient. During our 5-day training, our party was in honor of Children’s Day and each of our students contributed to decorating the carp.
Here at TEACCH, we agree that every child deserves to be celebrated, valued, and supported.
