As we wrap up another meaningful year, we invite you to spend some time with us this holiday season. The Chrisman California Islands Center will be open during our regular hours—Wednesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM—apart from Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, when we’ll be closed. If you have family or friends in town, we’d love to welcome them, too. There’s no better time to explore the stories, history, and art of the California Channel Islands.

Join us out front on Carpinteria Avenue for some Halloween fun! We will be handing out treats on Friday, October 31, from 3:30–5:00 PM.

Bring your ghosts, goblins, and island explorers to stop by for candy and say hello! It’s a great way to celebrate Halloween, meet our team, and help spread the word about the Center to friends and neighbors.

Come out, enjoy the festivities, and help us share the spirit of the Channel Islands with the community!
