Janet is having fun exploring the world of storytelling. She won awards at the State Fair Liar's Club and at the monthly Story Slams with Storytelling Arts of Indiana. She is a mom of two and a veteran teacher who now loves working in senior healthcare. She loves the power of a story to transport us to other places and times and help us look at things with new perspectives. ✨

Monica be sharing a story about love in its raw, real form — right on stage.
Monica Wearren is a Practical Yoga Therapist and movement educator with a background in healthcare leadership and somatic sciences. Through her company Good Moves, she helps people regulate their nervous systems, understand how their bodies move, and stretch themselves to unlock pain free movement. Originally from Kansas City, Monica has called Indianapolis home since 2000.

Monica will share her moving love story at Love Notes, with a twist. Like the movie The Wiz, her journey is one of losing her way, learning on the road, and returning home to herself with deeper clarity, courage, and love. It fuels her outlook on life and her mission to share movement with every body, helping them stretch into their most “at ease” selves.
