Our mission is to empower families who have chosen a home-based education for their child with the resources, support, and community they need to cultivate meaningful, personalized learning experiences for every child.

We’re so grateful for the community that helps make our programs possible! 💛

Southeast New Mexico Homeschool Hub is a nonprofit organization, and one of our goals is to keep our group activities, classes, clubs, and programs **free for participating families whenever possible**.

Because we don’t charge families participation fees for many of these opportunities, we rely on grants, donations, sponsorships, and community support to help cover the supplies our activities need.

We’ve created Amazon Wish Lists with items that will be used directly in our programs. If you’re looking for a simple way to support local homeschool families, purchasing an item from one of our wish lists is a huge help! Every donation—big or small—allows us to continue providing meaningful educational and social opportunities for our students without adding another expense for families.

Catch the Lea county Homeschool Hub at the Community Resource Fair this Sunday in Hobbs hosted by Scouting America! We will be there to answer questions and chat about what we have planned for the school year!

We didn’t get many photos but Eddy County had their Not! Back to School Bash at Artesia Aquatic Center this week. We have built a great relationship with their manager Amber and have loved all of our experiences working with them over the last couple of years. Also shout out to Laramie at Little Caesars Artesia for helping us get a large order of pizzas delivered to the center.

This annual event is funded by our popcorn fundraiser we do every fall. Thank you to all who participate and support in this fundraiser every year.

We are so grateful for local businesses that step up and support the educators shaping the future of our community. Their generosity does not go unnoticed!

If you have chosen home education for your student this year, we'd love to have you join us for educational and social activities. We do NOT replace your at home curricula, we enrich it! We have branches in both Eddy and Lea counties. The hub itself does not put on these activities, but we organize the opportunities that parents are putting on in one place! If you would like to join us, please fill out the participation form below!

If you would like to put on a class, club, field trip, workshop, sport for homeschoolers, reach out to us and we can put you on our monthly registration or share your info to the mass homeschool community.

Lea County had their first annual Play Day this past weekend. This event was organized by parents Shilah Barnes and Karen Owens. Students and their families gathered for a fun-filled day of field day games and also enjoyed a visit from the City of Hobbs Fire Department to cool off. It was truly one of the best days ever and we hope everyone had a great time.
A huge thank you to every single parent that contributed towards the success of the event. From contributing food items towards lunches, helping put together and lead the events, to assisting in set-up and clean-up. This group really came together for the kids! We can't wait for next year's Play Day!

It's never too early to join the Homeschool Hub for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! Your student will always have opportunities to have fun and make memories during their homeschooling!

Our final activity for the spring semester was a private workshop by Inspired by Science. They were one of our sponsors for our science fair and our first prize winner received a free registration to their science camp which registration opens today!
This activity was sponsored by SIMCO and VELA.
The kids had a blast making slime, ball launchers and elephant toothpaste!
