We’re looking for dependable, caring, and hardworking individuals to join our childcare team!

✨ OPEN POSITIONS:

👩‍🏫 Floater Teacher — Full-Time

* 8-hour shifts
* Assist in different classrooms as needed
* Cover teacher breaks and help maintain ratios
* Support daily routines, activities, and classroom needs
* Must be flexible, reliable, and enjoy working with children

🍎 Assistant Teacher — Full-Time

* Work alongside the Lead Teacher
* Assist with activities, routines, meals, and classroom supervision
* Help maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment
* Must be dependable and work well as part of a team

🍽️ Kitchen Staff — Full-Time

* Prepare and serve meals and snacks
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
* Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
* Assist with dishes, cleanup, and daily kitchen responsibilities
* Willing to step into classrooms to provide break coverage when needed
* Must be reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team

🌞🛍️ Sunnyside Academy Fundraiser Yard Sale! 🛍️🌞

We’re excited to announce our Fundraiser Yard Sale on Saturday, July 11th, from 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, and we’d love for our Sunnyside family and community to join us!

Come shop for great finds while supporting a great cause! We’ll also have:
🍋 Freshly squeezed lemonade
☕ Iced coffees
🍪 Homemade cookies & cakes made with our students

We’re also accepting yard sale donations! If you have gently used items around your home that you’d like to donate, we’d greatly appreciate them. Donations can be dropped off at the center no later than Thursday, July 9th.

Every purchase, every donation, and every share helps us continue creating amazing opportunities and experiences for our students. ❤️

🇺🇸 What an incredible day representing The Sunnyside Academy in our city’s 4th of July Parade! ❤️🤍💙

We had so much fun celebrating our community and seeing so many familiar faces along the parade route! Watching our students proudly ride and wave to the crowd made every minute of preparation worth it.

A huge thank you to all of our staff, families, volunteers, and everyone who helped decorate, organize, and participate. We couldn’t have done it without you! Your time, creativity, and support helped make today a memorable experience for our Sunnyside family.

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on—we loved being part of such a wonderful community celebration. We are already looking forward to next year and finding even more ways to make it bigger and better!

🎆 Our 1st Annual 4th of July Parade was a success! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

When our Sunnyside Support Squad President came to us with the idea of hosting a 4th of July parade, there was no question—we were all in! While it wasn’t quite as big as we originally envisioned, it turned out to be such a special event and an incredible way to celebrate with our Sunnyside families.

From the creative posters and festive decorations to the huge smiles on our students’ faces and all of the parents who came out to cheer them on, every part of today was amazing. Seeing our little ones proudly parade around while families celebrated with them is exactly what Sunnyside is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today possible and to all of our families for showing up and supporting our students. ❤️

This is just the beginning! Stay tuned because our Support Squad President and her squad have even more fun ideas in the works, and we can’t wait to bring them to life together. The best is yet to come! ☀️🎉🇺🇸

☀️ SUMMER CAMP SIGN-UPS ARE NOW OPEN! ☀️

Looking for a fun and safe summer program for your child? Join us this summer at The Sunnyside Academy! 🌈🎨🌿🧪

Our Summer Camp will run:
🕗 Monday–Friday
⏰ 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Ages 3 year olds to 7 year olds

We’ll have themed weeks full of hands-on activities, games, art, STEM fun, outdoor play, water activities, and more!

✨ Families will have the option to pick and choose which weeks they would like their child to attend, based on availability. Weekly spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
