Your gentle reminder today, to me and to you. 🤍

09/28/2026

We always judge people by where they are today and compare ourselves to that version, without realizing where they started from.

After an emergency c-section and gaining 10lbs breastfeeding, I didn’t recognize myself. I was constantly riddled with food noise and felt lost. But it was that version that showed up, took action, and got me to this version I wanted so badly to become.

This is your reminder today to start where you are & keep showing up. The future you will thank you. 🫶🏼

Comment “PREP” and I’ll send you the recipes for these easy meal preps I’ve been making weekly to get me 70g+ of protein before dinner.

They take under 40 minutes to compile and are packing with protein and fiber through Whole Foods to keep you full and your blood sugar regulated, which reduces cravings & snacking AND improves energy & mental clarity! Give them a try and I know you’ll feel it!!!

Maybe controversial, but here are my top 5:

1. Last time, I was NOT prepared food-wise and we ordered takeout more times than I’d like to admit. It was a season of survival but I know I would have felt 10x better if I had prepared (healthier) meals on the ready. So this time, freezer meal prep it is! (stay tuned for a whole series on this!)

2. I was so good about staying active in my first pregnancy, but now with also chasing a toddler, I AM EXHAUSTED. But I know the benefits of movement and I also do feel MORE energized after moving, so this is a non-negotiable still this third tri.

3. I did not do any Pelvic Floor PT while pregnant last time (and honestly, could have been better postpartum, too), so this time at 20 weeks, I sought up a PT in-person to help prep for a (hopefully) better birth and recovery.

4. I ONLY will take a trimester-specific prenatal now, and that’s why I take Perelel trimester prenatal - OBGYN-founded and evolves with the nutrients needed by trimester to support where you and your baby actually are. (DANI20 saves you 20% on your first order - just DM me “PRENATAL” & I’ll send you my link)

5. I over-prepared for a postpartum I didn’t have (emergency c-section mama here) and had SO many supplies that I ended up just gifting away. This time, I’ll be ordering overnight delivery and relying on what the hospital provides!

What would you add or change about this list?

True story:

In 2021, I thought I was my *healthiest* version of myself.

I was working out 7days a week (2x a day on some), eating “healthy” and had dropped weight and body fat - on the outside, everyone gave me so much praise and admired my “hard work.”

The truth?

I didn’t have a period. And when my husband and I got married and started to try for a family, little did I know that everything I was doing was keeping me from what I actually wanted.

It caused me to develop PMOS, which led to infertility challenges for 2 years.

It wasn’t until I changed my entire approach:

1. I ate MORE and gained 8lbs - but those 8 lbs were NOT what I thought they’d be. I looked healthy and strong and honestly surprised myself with this coming from a history of “eat less to shrink”

2. I cut back on working out and focused purely on walking and strength training - not only did this restore my cycle and allow me to eventually get pregnant, it completely changed my body composition.

3. I prioritized REST and doing LESS. I was no longer in go-go-go mode operating in fight or flight. I leaned into body work and therapies to help me relax (as a high achiever this was HARD), and it changed EVERYTHING.

I hate that women have been taught the wrong things when it comes to their body, health & body composition. But we are the generation to now change that & flip the script.

Pregnant with my second baby, and I’m so grateful to have learned this when I did.

Comment “MACRO PLAN” to get a custom build plan built around your hormones and lifestyle to lose body fat and see lasting composition changes.

As a women, our hormones and cycle play a crucial role in how our body responds to the inputs we give it. Which is exactly why so many women feel stuck. Generic plans and protocols not built for THEIR unique biology (and lifestyle) don’t work long term. Understanding these key things can make all the difference. ❤️

Comment EATS and I’ll send you each of these recipes!

Fat loss meals don’t need to be complicated to work.
These are 5 go to meals I’m eating during my cut that actually support fat loss without cutting out foods or obsessing over perfection.

When your meals are built around enough protein, balanced carbs and fats, and foods you actually enjoy, fat loss becomes sustainable. No extremes or confusing rules, just consistency.

If you’ve been stuck thinking fat loss has to feel hard, restrictive, or miserable… it doesn’t. It just needs structure.
