WOW! I am truly overwhelmed by the love and support shown tonight. 💚

Thank you to everyone who voted, encouraged me, shared my posts, put signs on lawns, sent messages, and believed in me throughout.

I am incredibly honored to have been elected to the Carle Place Board of Education and I do not take this responsibility lightly.

Carle Place has given so much to my family over the years and I look forward to giving back by listening, learning, and working together to continue strengthening our schools for all students.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you 💚🐸

Thank you for taking the time to listen to some of what I stand for and the direction I’d like to see Carle Place Schools grow. 💚

If elected, the one promise I would make is this… I will always remember why I sit in that seat: for the students of Carle Place.

As adults, it’s our responsibility to give our children the opportunities, support, and encouragement they need to succeed. Carle Place already does so many things well… and I believe we can continue strengthening that foundation and become even stronger together. 🐸

Please share this reminder with your friends and family in Carle Place to come out and vote tomorrow.
Every Vote counts!

My daughter Emily graduated from Lehigh University with honors this weekend 🤎🤍🤎

Running for the Board of Education at the same time makes me stop and think about all the teachers, staff, friends, and people in this community who helped her along the way.

Carle Place gave her such a strong foundation, and I’ll always be grateful to everyone who played a part in helping her become the young woman she is today! 💚

Congrats Emily 🎓🍾✨

SUPPORTING TEACHERS & STRENGTHENING CLASSROOMS:

Strong schools start with strong classrooms.

I believe teachers and staff deserve support, respect, and open communication. They work directly with our students every day and play such an important role in their growth and success.

Student-first decisions should always include a strong focus on classroom impact.

Positive relationships between teachers, administration, parents, and the BOE help create the strongest environment for our students. 💚

RESPONSIBLE BUDGETING & CLASSROOM IMPACT:

I believe budget decisions should always be student-first decisions!

As the cost of living continue’s to rise for families and seniors, it’s important that we stay responsible with district spending while continuing to protect the strength of our schools.

I believe we should regularly review programs, initiatives, and spending to make sure resources are being used where they matter most…supporting students and strengthening our classrooms.

Carle Place has a strong foundation, and I believe we can continue moving forward by balancing fiscal responsibility with what is best for students. 💚

One of the most important things I’ve learned through years of PTA and community involvement is that strong relationships are built through communication.

COMMUNICATION:

I believe a Board of Education should “Listen to Learn.” Parents, teachers, administrators, and community members should feel welcome to have honest conversations, ask questions, and share ideas.

Being Approachable Matters!
People deserve to feel heard, respected, and listened to.

Carle Place is a close-knit community, and with the right leadership, BOE meetings and district communication can help build transparency, trust, and stronger relationships throughout our community…
Always keeping students at the center. 💚

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting the Senior Center during their weekly meeting.

I had the opportunity to share a little about myself and then spend time going table to table chatting with residents. I was especially honored to meet two former Board of Education members, as well as former Rushmore and Cherry Lane teachers.

We spoke about how schools have changed over the years and their hopes for the future of CP schools. Their perspectives and experiences were truly meaningful, and I appreciated the warm welcome and conversation.

I assured them I would definitely be back again.💚
