I want to address something directly and transparently, because I believe in honesty, integrity, and protecting the business I’ve poured my heart and soul into.
Recently, there have been rumors and comments circulating in a local daycare and babysitting group regarding me and my daycare. These claims stem from a conflict with someone who has been harassing and attacking my family for months. What started as a concern I had over my young son potentially being given sleeping aids while in her care (at only 6–7 months old) escalated after I chose to remove him from that environment.
Rather than address things like adults, this individual has chosen to harass, bully, and defame me, pulling in others and using details from my past to hurt me during a time in my life when I have been deeply focused on healing. It’s painful, frustrating, and disappointing — especially knowing that I have never publicly bashed another provider, when I’ve had every reason to speak out. I have only commented my reasons for removing my child from her watching him and only AFTER her harrassment and attacks had already started.
I have been lied on and SILENCED; which leads me to believe that they want me to be quiet so they arent exposed.
The ones with the most to hide often make the most noise. I truly believe she’s launching her smear campaign and going on the defensive — because she feels threatened. If people were to learn about everything she’s been doing (and does) behind the scenes, especially without the parents’ knowledge, it would seriously damage the “high quality” image she tries so hard to maintain. And I recieved multiple messages after the drama from mothers who pulled their children for very similar situations and some not similar but equally terrifying and not safe whatsoever.
Her goal is to discredit me and make me look like the problem, so that anything I say about her pr her daycare are are automatically dismissed. A textbook tactic — shift the blame, play the victim, and silence the one speaking the truth. It’s manipulative, and sadly, it’s classic behavior from someone trying to protect their own image at any cost.
Let me be clear:
➡️ Legal action for defamation has been put in motion.
➡️ I was unaware of any “proven complaints” or “unprofessional communication” until they were recently posted publicly. All brand new information to me!
➡️I have only been re-opened from my personal leave of 7 months for a month, barely, so I find it really odd that there have been this many complaints come forth so suddenly. Also very odd that the person causing the chaos has been quiet for quite some time but has recently resurfaced once I re-opened my daycare.
➡️ Not a single parent ever brought these concerns to me OR PULLED CHILDREN from my care — which is alarming, especially given the seriousness of the accusations.
➡️ The parent involved in this situation also refused to pay their part — an important detail left out of the narrative.
I’ll be the first to admit that I have a straightforward tone. I don’t sugarcoat things. But when has that ever been a problem except in situations where someone didn’t want to pay for services rendered? I’m a human. I run a home. I have children of my own. When I'm not paid, I stress — just like anyone else would.
Sadly, this situation has already caused damage to my business, my reputation, and my ability to provide for my own children. But, I refuse to let a group of grown women, hiding behind anonymous comments, define who I am or what I stand for. If these accusations were truly as serious as claimed, they should have been brought to light IMMEDIATELY— not randomly, in one seemingly very coordinated online post.
To anyone seeing these comments, I hope you use discernment. Please don’t believe everything you read online — especially when it’s coming from a group of people echoing the exact same wording and motives. A Christ-filled heart is a graveyard for gossip — it cannot survive there. Where God’s truth lives, rumors have no room to grow.
Ephesians 4:29 – "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up”
Proverbs 26:20 – "Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down."
If you have genuine questions or concerns, my inbox is always open. I’m more than willing to speak with anyone and even share my personal testimony and healing journey.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support me, trust in me, and see through the noise. My heart will remain in this work — despite the efforts of my fan club.
I truly believe that the Lord called me to this work because your kids deserve a provider who shows up with love, honesty, and transparency. And I will continue to give every child that comfort.
