Meet the Professors!

Kim Berger is now in her 9th year of teaching ASL. She started at 2015 at John A. Logan College's IPP program.

Her and her husband live in the woods here in Southern IL. She has a Goldwing motorcycle, a pontoon boat, and her favorite, her camper! She loves the lake, and if you are unsure where to find her, just look for her at the campground. She loves to be outdoors!

Kim shares, “I am humbled to have the opportunity to guide my students in their journeys as they work toward their personal and professional goals in ASL; I want them to become connected to the Deaf World during their time at SIU and beyond this campus.”
