Summer heat + pregnancy can be a rough combination ☀️💧
Dehydration during pregnancy can sometimes trigger contractions because when your body is low on fluids, the uterus becomes more irritable. Staying hydrated helps support circulation, amniotic fluid levels, energy, and can even help decrease headaches and dizziness.
Nurse’s Tip: Aim for pale yellow urine — think straw colored! If you’re sweating more, outside in the heat, or active, you likely need even more fluids. 👣
