❤️ Sometimes, it’s more than just a ride.

Today, we had the privilege of taking care of someone’s elderly mother and bringing her to church.

Church ran about 30 minutes longer than expected. No problem. We waited. When someone trusts us with their mother, we’re going to make sure she gets home safely.

After bringing her home, we noticed her screen door was in rough shape. That started a conversation.

She mentioned that she also had a tree becoming overgrown in the backyard and several bushes out front that needed attention. She wasn’t quite sure who to call or who she could trust to actually show up and do the job right.

So instead of simply saying goodbye and driving away, we stayed and talked with her for another 10–15 minutes. Walked with her to the back and the side to look at her concerns and absorb / process the information.

Afterward, I reached out to her son, who has trusted us to be his mother’s personal driver, and let him know what we noticed. I also offered to connect them with local professionals we know and trust who may be able to help.

Because when you're taking care of someone’s mother, she isn't just another pickup and drop-off.

Over the years, we’ve built relationships with local businesses, contractors, and professionals throughout Southwest Florida. We know people who do great work, communicate, and actually show up. When appropriate, we're happy to open that network to the people who trust us with their families.

Transportation may have been what we were hired for today.

Looking out for someone was simply the right thing to do.

BREAKING: DHS confirms to that a rideshare driver arrested in Montgomery County, MD for allegedly kidnapping & ra**ng an underage girl during a ride is an illegal alien from the African country of Guinea who was caught & released at the AZ border by the Biden admin in 2023. He also has a prior rap sheet of sexually assaulting a minor in NYC from earlier this year.

DHS says Abdoulaye Dia of Lanham crossed the border illegally into Lukevilke, AZ on December 21, 2023 (one of the days my team and I were there doing live shots showing masses of African men crossing illegally), but was released into the U.S. by Border Patrol.

Dia was arrested by NYPD on June 10th for sexual abuse by forcible compulsion, forcible touching – sexual/intimate parts of another person, injure child less than 17, and sexual abuse without consent.

He’s now been arrested by police in Maryland for allegedly kidnapping and ra**ng an underage teen girl during an Empower rideshare in which he was the driver. Police say he took her to a parking lot and r***d her in his vehicle, and they believe there are more victims.
