Zenshu-Ha Karate Do

Welcome back to Zenshuha!

The page has been fairly inactive for quite some time. As you know, Hanshi Dailey was very ill for many months before he was finally called home on September 19, 2018. The Zenshu-Ha authority was transferred to Larry Hall on August 4, 2018.

The new Zenshu Ha website is currently under construction, but details of the transfer of authority can be found there:

The Zenshu patch has been officially changed to the one you see on the website. The design is emblematic of the foundation of Seibukan, and will be explained in detail as the website grows. In the coming months you will also find articles relating to the koryu Seibukan foundation on Okinawa, as well as the personal philosophy and teachings of O'Sensei Shimabukuro, Zenryo.

In the process of reorganizing the group, it is important to us that the Zenshu Ha name not be tarnished or misrepresented by anyone in the martial arts community.
To use the name or patch design without authorization is prohibited. It's also in bad taste!

If you are currently affiliated with Zenshu Ha in any way, and desire to continue with that affiliation, please contact us through the website and we will start a meaningful dialogue.

Well it has been two full weeks after coming home from the Arizona Get-together, and let me tell you I had a blast !! It was wonderfull. I finally got to meet with Hoshiyama Sensei, what a gentlemen He is. The first night of the gathering we were invited to his beautiful home for dinner. I have never eaten food as was served that night. To say it was great would be a gross understatement of the truth. It was cooked by a world renowned chef, Sensei Withey of Australia, and yes he is not only a master chef but he is a very talented Martial Artist. He is Hoshiyama Sensei's second in jujitsu. Anyway the whole five days were nothing but Budo,an absolute delight !! At this time I would like also to thank my brothers in Zentokukai for letting me tag along. What a great bunch of brothers they are.

My brother of 50 some years came to visit me two weeks ago.We wanted to visit Hanshi Tim Rodgers and his newly completed hombu dojo (hdqrs. for Zentokukai Org.). I knew Hanshi could do a good job (he and his students built it),but when Hanshi Hall and I saw it we were speechless!! It was beautiful, very traditional and functional. It was like stepping back to the orient. He lives what He talks ! Hanshi Rodgers, Hanshi Hall and I bow to you in much respect and honor.
