Create your own wearable Halloween costume mask using 3D design!

In this hands-on STEAM workshop, students will use Tinkercad to transform a basic full-face mask into a completely original Halloween creation. Students can add features such as horns, ears, spikes, teeth, patterns, symbols, raised details, and other creative accessories to bring their character to life. Design a monster, dragon, robot, alien, animal, spooky character, or invent something completely new!

Check out our upcoming Halloween Roblox Obby Game Design Workshop! In this hands-on STEM and game design workshop, students will use Roblox Studio to create their own Halloween-themed obby. Students will design a playable obstacle course filled with jumps, platforms, checkpoints, hazards, and Halloween decorations while learning the fundamentals of building games in Roblox Studio. Students can choose their own theme, such as a haunted house, spooky graveyard, pumpkin patch, monster laboratory, creepy castle, or completely original Halloween adventure.

Get creative this Halloween and design your very own custom jack-o’-lantern!

In this hands-on STEAM workshop, students will use Tinkercad to build a 3D pumpkin from scratch, carve their own unique face, and add fun details like hats, horns, glasses, fangs, ears, names, or other spooky and silly accessories. While creating their design, students will explore important STEM and STEAM concepts including 3D modeling, spatial reasoning, measurement, engineering design, problem-solving, creativity, and digital fabrication. Students will learn how to resize and rotate shapes, combine objects, use negative space to carve designs, and think about how a digital model can be turned into a real 3D-printed object. No previous 3D design experience is needed, making this a great introduction to both creative technology and engineering concepts.

Students will complete their design during the 2-hour workshop. Finished creations will be 3D printed after class and available for pickup at a later date.
