Words of Wisdom From Basha Dad always had funny nicknames for everyone. And his nickname for mom was Basha. She believed in kindness, compassion, and love for her fellow humans.

Mom passed in 2025, and we now share those lessons to keep her legacy of helping others alive. 😇

But she also taught me to be a realist. “Don’t be like the ostrich!”, she used to say.

And sadly many of these are true for most. But, chin up! There are plenty of amazing people like you out there!!

To all the ‘moms’ out there, especially those currently making human life…Basha would remind you of the importance of rest.

So if today feels extra tiring, STOP 🛑 and put your feet up.

If anyone asks tell them, “It’s fine…Basha said to REST!” 😉

It’s funny. You start out your day, indeed your life, everyday focused upon doing good. And you do! But you have to tolerate a lot of others as you make your way through the day and that starts to feel heavy.

And that’s what matters. When doing good starts to feel bad to you, it’s time to assess your delivery and storage of the emotions to and from others.

There must be a balance to allow everyone to feel good in these interactions.

So if feeling good is also feeling heavy…it may be time to reconsider your approach.

If Basha taught us anything…it is this:

Love many, live well, and laugh often. And not a stitch of it had to with class or money. Rather it was all about inclusiveness of those around you.
