We have a new little friend at Play Time , our pet fish, Ketchup! The kids got to meet him today, and we talked about how we can help care for him, keep his home clean, and make sure he gets fed.
We’re so excited to have Ketchup as part of our classroom family and to give the kids another hands on way to learn about caring for living things! 🐟

✨ Sensory Play Wednesday! ✨
Today was all about exploring, creating, and getting our hands into some fun! We played with chia seed slime, Squirmy, Play-Doh, water tables , sand, sink-or-float experiments, and even added some canvas painting into the mix.
So many textures, colors, and ways to explore just the way we like to learn! 💛

Play Time of Canton is raffling off a Family Movie Night Basket packed with movie-night goodies, and every ticket purchased will help us provide new equipment for our kids’ backyard and outdoor play area!
Tickets are $3 for 1, $5 for 2, or $10 for 5, and our winner will be drawn October 2nd at our Chili Cook-Off!
You don’t have to be a current Play Time family to participate , friends, family and community members are welcome to purchase tickets too!

🥕 Make It & Taste It Mondays are back! 🥒
Last school year, our kids loved getting hands on in the kitchen, and we’re so excited to bring it back!
Today they prepared and taste-tested pretzels, carrots, and cucumbers, with and without the skin and chose between homestyle ranch and fresh hummus for dipping.
The kids helped prepare their own snack, tried new flavors, cleaned up afterward, and talked about how healthy foods help our bodies grow strong. 💚
Learning life skills AND trying new foods, that’s what Make It & Taste It Mondays are all about!
