Northern Illinois ad in Chicago Tribune jabs at Northwestern, Illinois Alumni of Northern Illinois took out a page in the Chicago Tribune to boast the Huskies as Chicago's big-time college football team.

No watch party scheduled for this Saturday September 13th.The 2-0 Huskies travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to take on the UNLV Rebels. That game kicks off at 7 p.m. (EST) from UNLV's Sam Boyd Stadium. NIU becomes the first Mid-American Conference team to defeat 2 Big Ten opponents during the regular season with a resounding 55-24 win at Purdue today!

The win also ties the largest margin of victory for a MAC team over the Big Ten. The Huskies are now 4-0!
