The Canton Career Center is proud to announce that Za’Leah Prophet and Katelyn Small are representing Mississippi at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Indiana!

After earning top honors at the state level, these outstanding Health Science students will now compete against some of the best students from across the nation and around the world.

Each month, one student from each of our Career and Technical Education programs is recognized for demonstrating an important character trait. For May, we celebrate Adaptability — students who remain flexible, embrace change, and adjust to challenges with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

👏🏽 Congratulations to our May honorees Kimberly Gonzalez Hernandez and Ethan Nichols for showing resilience, growth, and the ability to succeed in any situation!

We are proud of these students for demonstrating that adaptability is an essential skill for success in school, the workplace, and everyday life.

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Mr. Wayne Day, on being selected as the recipient of the Educator Impact Award presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union! 🎉🍎

Mr. Day was nominated by the district in recognition of his dedication, hard work, and positive impact on our students and school community. The award was presented by Mrs. Bradshaw, and he was honored with both an award and funds to support himself and his classroom.
