Help us celebrate our Open House with complimentary American Mahjong sessions in our brand-new studio.

FRIDAY✨ 1–3 PM✨ 6:30–8:30 PM

SATURDAY✨ 10 AM–12 PM✨ 2–4 PM

Bring your regular group or come on your own—we’ll help you find a table and meet fellow players. Guests should know the basics of American Mahjong and be ready for friendly, social play.

Seats are complimentary, but space is limited. Each player must reserve their own seat.

Welcome to The Mahji Bird!

What started as one woman's love of Mahjong has grown into a community of women who teach, play, create, and celebrate together.

The Mahji Bird began with a simple idea: Mahjong is better when it's shared. What started with teaching friends and family soon grew into private events, lessons in homes, and a beautiful home studio where players gathered to learn, laugh, and connect around the table.

Now, we're taking the next exciting step.

The Mahji Bird is opening our permanent studio in Southpointe Town Center, in mid-August, where we'll gather for lessons, events, open play, and everything Mahjong! While renovations are underway, we're thrilled to welcome you to our temporary space across the street, next to Baxter's Arcade.

At The Mahji Bird, we believe Mahjong is more than a game—it's a joyful way to connect, laugh, and create lasting memories with friends and family. Whether you're picking up tiles for the first time or looking to deepen your love of the game, you'll find a welcoming space to learn with confidence, play with joy, and become part of our Mahjong community.
