Handling the hammer and positioning the cotton rounds improves hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Mr. Scott and Miss Jamie had the very best time celebrating Lucia's 5th birthday this past weekend. She is one of the brightest students and has been with us since the beginning of our Sparkd' journey. She is so enthusiastic about all of our art lessons and retains absolutely EVERYTHING we teach!!

When Mom asked for us to bring a special art lesson to their home for Lucia, her friends and family to enjoy, we could not wait to be apart of her special day!

The kids were SUPER engaged for longer than even I expected and loved the final outcome of their projects 👏🧡

✨️ Keep us in mind for all of your birthday needs. Art lessons are a fun touch for any kids party and totally worth the glitter mess 🥳

CORAL REEFS 🪸🌊

This summer in Sparkd' art class we are focused on the beach & underwater themes. Our friends were excited to build their own coral reef using:

✔️pasta
✔️paint
✔️clay
✔️pipe cleaners

THE KICKER?! After our habitats were built, we added a mini marine animal of our choice to live in the coral reef we built!

Learning can be so much more fun when you design lessons that are hands-on and a little messy. Play more, learn more!

Hang Loose Lesson 🤙🌊⛱️🏄‍♂️

That by mixing salt and a bit of brown paint you can create SAND?!

Valley Christian kids had a blast with this art lesson today. We made sand, added in shells and painted our very own surf board.

When you can't be at the beach, bring the beach to them!!

OH THE PLACES YOU'LL GO!

I cannot even believe that we are at the end of another school year!

Today we talked A LOT. We spoke of our favorite projects, and the time we've spent together this year. Some of our students are moving on into Kindergarten and today was our last class with them. A few kids asked if Mr. Scott and I would be visiting them at their new (big kid) schools 🥹 ...I wish, kiddo!!

I have watched many of these children walk into their first day of art class at age 2, not quite understanding how to hold a paintbrush. They have grown into these big versions of themselves, with even bigger ideas! I couldn't be more proud and excited to see where life takes them.

I hope that these lessons stick with them and they look back on the art we have made together and smile. I know I will! ✨️🧡

Fiesta with Maracas 🪇 Creative Corner Learning Center

Our littles were loving these fun noise makers and had the chance to paint their maracas too!

We even learned a few Spanish words while decorating our instruments.

Fairy Gardens were a huge hit this week. Our kiddos painted rocks, and hand-picked materials to build their garden.

Open-Ended Creativity: Unlike toys with a set purpose, sticks, dirt, and rocks can be anything—a magic wand, a car, a phone, or building materials, encouraging imaginative play.

Mr. Luke, thank you for all of your help. You had so much life left to live, so many lessons to learn, and so many little lives to touch.
