For my friends that live in Canfield... I am 70 years old. A week ago last Saturday (August 3) - I was involved in a major accident at thr intersection of 224 and Raccoon Road. I was travelling East on 224 - going out of Canfield - when I was waiting under a green light waiting to turn left (North) -onto Raccoon Road. When the light turned red, I attempted to clear the intersection - when a white Cadillac went through the red light and hit me on the passenger side - totaling my car & injuring me. (Thank God - the other driver wasn't hurt.) The responding officer did not cite the other driver because she claimed the light was yellow, and the witness to the accident (who confirmed the light was red) - left the scene before he was identified. I need to communicate with him or anyone else who witnessed the accident. I happened around 11:00 a.m. & it rained cats and dogs right after the accident. Many people in Canfield are aware of this big accident and there has to be someone who witnessed the accident - who is willing to contact me.
