Welcome to Joyful Journey Health Coaching! Maybe you’re here and you’re just wanting to take better care of yourself to increase your energy and health, but you’re not quite sure what that should look like for you, or you have a hard time following through. Or maybe you have some challenging health problems and you see lots of different ideas out there about what you should do, but you’re not sure how to really support your own body’s healing.

My name is Stephanie Magnuson and I’m a Certified Health Coach. I’ve studied with Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Trinity School of Natural Health, and the Functional Nutrition Lab, and my desire is to come alongside you in your health journey and provide the encouragement and guidance and accountability that can make all the difference in you finding the changes that will really make a difference in your success with your health!

I want to help you rekindle hope and start moving forward with practical steps. I want to see you develop a love for nourishing foods and for a balanced way of living rather than for what harms your body. But the path of healing is not a cookie-cutter formula, and it will take a process to uncover root causes and find the best ways to support your unique person and to build those new habits into your everyday life. Everyone’s journey will be different, and that’s why I believe health coaches are such an important part of the healing process.

I'm excited to be enrolled in a short program called Reframe Nutrition by Andrea Nakayama's Functional Nutrition Alliance! Among other things, I will be learning how to use the Functional Nutrition Matrix tool to better help clients sort through their symptoms and stories to find the root causes and solutions for their health issues. For a long time I have admired the work and success of Andrea and I look forward to learning from her wisdom!
