The Taylor County Extension Homemakers are excited to host our 2nd Annual 4th of July Online Bake Sale Auction!

📅 Bidding opens June 28 and runs through July 1, 2026

From homemade cakes and pies to cookies, desserts, and more—our talented Homemakers have baked up something for everyone!

🌱🌼 Join Taylor County 4-H Horticulture Judging! 🌼🌱

Looking for a fun, hands-on way to learn about plants? 🌿 The Taylor County 4-H Horticulture Judging Team is the perfect opportunity for youth to explore the world of trees, shrubs, fruits, vegetables, flowers, and houseplants—while also learning how to evaluate plant quality!

📅 Practice Dates (2:00 PM):
• Wednesday, July 1
• Friday, July 10
• Thursday, July 16
• Tuesday, July 28

✅ Free program for youth ages 9–18
• Juniors: Ages 9–13 (as of January 1, 2026)
• Seniors: Ages 14–19 (as of January 1, 2026)

🌟 Participants who complete 6 or more hours of practice will be eligible to compete in the State Horticulture Contest at the Kentucky State Fair in August!

Crawly Critters made an impact on the 4-H Entomology Club today during their visit to Clay Hill Memorial Forest! 🐛🪲🕷️

Youth also had the opportunity to visit with reptiles during their visit.
