The 80th Session of Keystone Girls State will be held June 21–26, 2026 at Shippensburg University.

Who can be a citizen?
Any girl who has completed her junior year of high school and is scheduled to return for her senior year.

No association with the American Legion or Auxiliary is required.

Where can we find candidates for Keystone Girls State?
Local public schools, private schools, cyber schools, and home-schooled students are all welcome.

Keystone Girls State is an incredible opportunity for young women to grow as leaders, learn about government, and build lifelong friendships.

If you’ve completed your junior year and are ready to take the next step, you may qualify!

✔️ Open to students with at least one semester remaining before graduation
✔️ U.S. citizen or legal resident
✔️ First-time Girls State participant
✔️ Ready to lead, learn, and serve
