Ms. Ashley’s class and Mrs. Angie’s class enjoyed some special D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) time today! ❤️

Our PreK friends are learning that books are meant to be loved, explored, and shared. They are practicing how to handle books carefully, turn the pages, look at the pictures, and “picture read” their favorite stories. 📖👀

A huge thank you to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for helping put books into the hands of children and giving our youngest learners the opportunity to build a love of reading from the very beginning! 💕📚

🌸 3 of our amazing staff members were honored today by Ivy Corner’s Petals of Appreciation! 🌸

We are so proud of these three and the difference they make each and every day! 💛🖤

While today’s petals may have been given to three, we are incredibly fortunate to have an entire garden of amazing staff at Camden Elementary. 🌷 Every person on our team brings something special to our school, and we are grateful for ALL of them!

🦁 First Grade & The Lion Huddle! 💛🖤

Today was all about our 1st graders! They gathered for some fun, friendship, and connection as they caught up with old friends, made new ones, and spent time with the adults who help make Camden Elementary their school family.

We loved seeing the smiles, laughter, and connections happening throughout the huddle! 🥰

🦁💛 The Lion Huddle! 💛🖤

Today our 2nd graders gathered for our very first Lion Huddle! They had the chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and spend some time hanging out with our administrators and other adults who are part of their CES family.

There were lots of smiles, laughter, conversations, and connections made! 🥰

The Lion Huddle is all about building relationships, creating a sense of belonging, and reminding our students that they are an important part of our Lion family. 🦁

We can’t wait to bring The Lion Huddle to our other grade levels! 💛🖤

📢 Transportation Reminder!

If your child’s transportation is changing, please send a note to your child’s teacher or call the school by 1:00 PM to let us know.

Each student may have one morning address and one afternoon address on file. Any additional transportation arrangements must be approved by administration.
