Semesters come and go, but we all thought he’d be here for a while longer... Among this semester’s graduates is Brother Guillaume Martin-Achard (B.Eng'18).
Guillaume always played a pivotal role at Quebec Alpha and was widely recognized at McGill University by his stage name, The Phoenician. As a Founding Father, Guillaume has continued to uphold the highest standards of friendship and set an example for the future generations of Quebec Alpha.
We wish him all the best in the future and look forward to seeing him in Montreal!
Phi Alpha brother!

Congratulations to our brother and fellow McGill Redmen Rugby player Calvin Simpson for having been named the 2014 RSEQ rugby rookie of the year and nominated at the McGill Varsity Gala for the overall male rookie of the year. Through his leadership and hard work, Calvin was also one of three Redmen members who earned a spot on the RSEQ conference all-star team. Great work brother and good luck next season! PA

In the words of the Eminent Archon of SAE's Harvard group :

"The actions of the University of Oklahoma chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon are a disgrace to everything that this fraternity stands for. Their conduct is an embarrassment to Brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, college fraternities nationwide, and young adults in the 21st century. Our organization holds its members to a standard of conduct and violations of our values will not be tolerated. The national council of SAE has closed the University of Oklahoma chapter and suspended all of its members. We, the Brothers of Massachusetts Gamma, stand by this decision, as well as the university administration’s order to vacate the chapter house immediately."

The colony of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at McGill has been from the start, a group of gentlemen each of who's conduct precedes from good will. The shameful acts of certain boys in Oklahoma are no indication of the diverse and welcoming group of men in our Canadian group. Those at the University of Oklahoma have brought shame upon our name, however there is a certain ascendancy and hope along with our embarrassment today - that is that all groups like these can be identified and eradicated and thus renew and strengthen the quality of our brotherhood nationwide.
