Join us for our first Grad Q***r Lunch of the year!

Whether you’re new to campus or have been here for a while, everyone is welcome to meet fellow grad students, share experiences, and discuss ways to foster a supportive and vibrant community for the LGBTQIA+ community here at Harvard!

Please RSVP if you want us to get you lunch! People who RSVP will be sent a link prior to the event to place their lunch orders. If you don’t RSVP (or RSVP too close to the event), we’ll still try to get you food, but we can’t guarantee it. You’re also welcome to bring your own lunch and hang out!

Join us as this Friday 5/30, as we kick off Pride 2025 and celebrate the end of the academic year! Enjoy music from DJ Big Body Toph spinning hot jams, delicious handmade empanadas, desserts, and drinks (including alcohol-free options). Visit Pleasure Pie’s resource table for sex-positive zines, art, and goodies—plus a visiting sexpert to connect with. Dive into Pride crafts and swag, and meet new friends or reconnect with familiar faces.

Prefer a calmer atmosphere? Quiet, low-stimulation spaces will be available upstairs. We’ll end the night by lighting the outside of Lehman Hall in the colors of our q***r rainbow. Let’s celebrate community, q***r joy, and the journey ahead—together! 

All Harvard affiliates and their guests are welcome, including both members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Join us for LGBTQIA+ Journeys in Academia (Panel & Reception) on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM EDT to 8:30 PM EDT at Harvard University, Northwest Building, Room 101! RSVP Link in BIO!

How has LGBTQIA+ representation in academia evolved, and where do we go from here? We’re organizing a conversation that brings together scholars and advocates to celebrate the progress achieved, reflect on the lessons learned from past struggles, and consider the challenges that remain. Together, we’ll reimagine a future where LGBTQIA+ individuals thrive in academia and explore actionable steps we can take as a community. We will have a 90-minute panel followed by a reception with dinner. Open to all!

Excited to meet other graduate students across Harvard graduate and professional schools? This event is open to all current GSAS students and graduate students across all Harvard schools. All grad adjacent positions are also welcome (i.e. postbac, postdoc, fellow).

The mixer provides a welcoming space to connect with both new and familiar faces and aims to foster a sense of community for those who self-identify under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, as well as for allies.
