Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women is a values based organization. Our core values are Integrity, Honor and Respect, Lifelong Commitment, Personal and Intellectual Growth, Philanthropic Service to Other, and Sincere Friendship. Pi Phi was the first organization for women based on the men’s fraternity system. The mission of Pi Beta Phi is:

The philanthropic efforts of all Pi Beta Phi Chapters support the Pi Beta Phi Foundation. The Pi Beta Phi Foundation works to realize the vision of Pi Beta Phi, which is:

The vision of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women is to be recognized as a premier organization for women by providing lifelong enrichment to its members and contributing to the betterment of society. The Foundation helps collegiate and alumna members in need, supports Pi Beta Phi’s Leadership Development Program, and supports Pi Beta Phi’s National Philanthropy - Literacy. In addition, Pi Beta Phi partners with First Book, an organization which provides access to new books for children in need. The Massachusetts Gamma Chapter was founded at MIT in 2008. Our Chapter of Pi Beta Phi is one of 134 in the United States and Canada. Our sisters are a support system for each other. We share values, traditions and common interests and help to shape each other’s experiences at MIT. Our chapter has been the home away from home for a Society of Women Engineers President, members of dance groups on campus, a Dormitory Council President, members of the Panhellenic Executive Board, actresses in MIT theatre groups, a UA Secretary, members of Tau Beta Pi, musicians, reporters for The Tech, athletes from varsity sports teams, members of a Capella groups and EMTs with MIT-EMS. In August of 2011, our chapter was awarded residence in one of MIT’s newly renovated, on-campus facilities starting in the fall of 2012. The chapter house is a great place to grow our sisterhood and our support network. Sisters can eat meals and spend time together, drop by the house for study hours, and have a safe, supportive environment to call their own.

Hey everyone! My name is Amy He (she/her) and I’m so excited to take over the pi phi insta for the weekend. I’m a rising sophomore studying 18C (math w/ CS). On campus, I’m part of HMMT, Asian Dance Team, and Women in EECS. I’m in Singapore this summer working on cybersecurity research at the National University of Singapore. I’ll be visiting Hong Kong this weekend and hope you’ll follow along!

Hi everyone! My name is Tea and I’ll be taking over the pi phi instagram this weekend! I’m a rising Sophmore majoring in 6-14 (computer science and economics). On campus I’m part of an acapella group, TCC (the Catholic community on campus), and currently serving as Pi Phis Director Fraternity Heritage. This summer I’m living in DC and working as a Cost and Business Analytics intern at the MITRE corporation, but I’m taking some time off to show you all around California!
