Note on registration:
Our currently enrolled students have access to priority registration. While there are typically still spots remaining after the priority registration period, these spots fill up within minutes of general registration opening. If you’re unable to register for a class, add yourself to the waitlist as soon as possible and we’ll notify you if a spot opens up.

Our summer semester of adult classes are now enrolling -- and now, you can explore printmaking with our new instructor, Nicole Stone!

Through evocative prints and fun participatory art experiences, Nicole critically activates timely social and civic issues. As a student, she focused on painting and printmaking, earning both an MFA and BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art, as well as a Post-Baccalaureate certificate from Brandeis University. She is passionate about supporting fearless artistic exploration for students of all ages—including those in college, high school, elementary school, and beyond.

Join us in April for the next session of the Mini Relief Prints workshop with Christina Kang! After three hours, you'll not only learn how to carve a linoleum block, mix ink, and print by hand and with a press, you'll leave with one-of-a-kind, handmade cards with your design. Make a card for Mother's Day or just have fun experimenting - the possibilities are endless and in your hands!

We're hiring! Maud Morgan Arts is looking for an energetic, resourceful artist and educator to join our team as a Printmaking Instructor for adult students.

Candidates should have experience in various printmaking techniques. The Printmaking Instructor will teach classes in printmaking to adult students in 8-10 week long semesters. Potential class topics include screenprinting, linoleum relief, monotype and monoprint.

One of our upcoming Mini Relief Prints Workshop has been rescheduled to March 16th! Registration for these workshops and our spring session of adult classes opens this evening at 6 PM. Find more information at maudmorganarts.org/home/adults-at-mma/

Wow your friends and family with uniquely designed cards, entirely made by you! In this three hour workshop, you'll learn how to carve a linoleum block, mix ink, and print with a printing press and by hand. You'll leave with a set of handmade printed cards and your own linoleum block carved with your design!

The Mini Relief Prints Workshop will be offered on two dates: Saturday March 15 or April 19 from 10am-1pm, and you can enroll for them along with our spring session of studio classes starting this Thursday, February 27th at 6pm.

In 2024, we added a dedicated Adult Arts Program Coordinator to our team - Sophie Mark-Ng, who is an alum of our afterschool program and took her first ever ceramics class at Maud Morgan Arts! Hiring Sophie is part of our plan to rebuild and reimagine what Maud Morgan Arts can offer our community.

Sophie’s background in community work informs her approach to overseeing adult arts programming, and she sees how the arts play a vital role in maintaining individual and community health. When world and life circumstances shift beyond our control, the arts continue to exist as a space of creation, self expression, reflection, resilience, and joy.
