Hey Everyone! As the craziness of shopping starts to come to a close, Improv for Life is ramping up with two intro sessions this week. These sessions are meant to give you a sense of why the course is important and will be a blast, as well as logistics.
Intro Meeting 1 will be on Tuesday, September 6, in the Green Room *MemHall 038* from 7-8pm.
Intro Meeting 2 will be on Thursday, September 8, in the Green Room *MemHall 038* from 8:30-9:30pm.
We definitely encourage everyone to come to one of these two sessions to learn more about the class for this semester or the future. **Preference will be given to those in attendance.**
We will also be live streaming the session if you can't make these times in person or want to watch afterwards.
Much love

FAQ
- Why should I do this class?
Improv is the best way to learn and develop the kind of skills that are always good to have in your back pocket. Improv helps people communicate like Hemingway, problem-solve like Jason Bourne, and make any team look like the 1992 Dream Team. We are focusing specifically on creativity, communication and leadership skills this semester.
Come join us and you’ll see the benefits the next time you’re getting your startup off the ground, interviewing for a job, working in a team or just chatting with your roommate. Plus, this class will be shockingly fun!
- Do other people also think improv is super useful?
Yes they do. Check out Professor Adam Grant's Originals for the empirical stuff (or you can trust we have done our homework).
- What will the classes be like?
Classes will be led by seasoned improv performers from Harvard’s performing community. Each class will teach a specific translatable skill through improv exercises and scenes. Sessions will be fun, fast-paced and filled with laughter.
- What is the time commitment?
We will meet once a week for 2 hours throughout the semester. There will be a $50 refundable deposit, which you will get back as long as you actively participate during the semester. (*Financial aid is available*).
- Do I need improv experience?
No! Honestly, it’s probably better if you don’t (but fine if you do).
