Sign the Petition 05/19/2021

This is a call to sign a petition protesting an event with a former IDF member to discuss the Palestine-Israel situation and targeted at MIT students. Having a one sided discussion, especially with an affiliate of an organization committing war crimes, has the potential to drive distressing misinformation and bias but is also tantamount to being complicit in human rights violations.

MIT community unites for Beirut explosion relief efforts | Division of Student Life 10/06/2020

Our MIT wide fundraiser for supporting relief efforts after the Beirut explosion was featured on MIT Life News. The article walks through the story of the explosion and its aftermath by providing perspectives of Lebanese in Beirut and abroad. MIT's community has been incredible and we still feel the love even 2 months after the explosion. Thank you.
Displaced Lebanese still need your support. Our fundraiser is still active. Please donate and spread the message.

MIT community unites for Beirut explosion relief efforts | Division of Student Life On August 4th, the third-largest blast the world has ever seen shook the city of Beirut, Lebanon. The cityโ€™s core was wiped out.

Thank you to everyone! The MIT Beirut Disaster Relief fundraiser collected more than 26,000$ which will go to NGOs and organizations supporting the thousands of affected individuals. The support we've received from this community is heart warming.
On behalf of the Lebanese people, the Lebanese Club at MIT, and the MIT Arab Alumni Association, we would like to thank those who stood by our country during this time.

The Lebanese Club at MIT and the MIT Arab Alumni Association initiated a gofundme campaign to raise money that will directly go to the Beirut Emergency Fund organized by Social and Economic Action for Lebanon (SEAL), a U.S. registered 501(c)3 non-profit and non-political organization based in New York. SEAL is supporting organizations in Lebanon such as the Red Cross and Arcenciel. These organizations are providing shelters, medical supplies, and rehabilitation support.
Please, consider donating! No contribution is too small!
