Congratulations to all of our fall sports for showing us what is means to be student-athletes! Every single fall sport had a cumulative GPA above a 3.0! We also had six fall student athletes who were recognized by CIF and the Trinity League as Scholar Athletes!

JSerra Catholic High School has chosen to seek a new leader to assume the helm of Lions Football.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA – On Thursday, Nov. 17, JSerra Catholic High School announced its decision to part ways with Head Coach Scott McKnight.

Coach McKnight took the Lions to the Division 2 playoffs in 2021 after a 3-8 season and ended up losing to Sierra Canyon in the first round. This season the Lions finished with a 6-6 record, losing to Mater Dei in the second round of Division 1 playoffs.

"Coach McKnight took over this team at a crucial time and has done a great job bridging the gap,” said Athletic Director Chris Ledyard. “His dedication and hard work brought a level of success for which we are grateful.”

President Rich Meyer added, “We wish Scott the very best in his next endeavors. And while it’s never easy to make a change, we believe now is the time to capitalize on the foundation Scott has built for one of our marquee programs.”
