It’s farm Friday and there are only 3 days left in August.

Here is some inspiration for our outdoor play area. Ms Sheri is excited to tour the coastal farm education program this weekend and share ideas on how to incorporate more natural elements into our spaces.

All parents who HAVE paid their tuition & those paying TODAY will be entered into a drawing for 🐮2 free days🐮on Octobers calendar!!!!!

We appreciate our families so much and want to find more ways to express our gratitude for sharing your children with us!!!!

September is almost here and that means that FALL is near. I love Fall on the Farm for so many reasons!

We will officially begin our new Farm School year and will be cultivating and implementing a variety of new experiences for the children.

I want to Thank Colton’s Mom for gifting us homemade peach jam🍑 today. We really do appreciate the little things.

September calendars have now been distributed. Tuition is always due prior to the 1st of each month.

Ms. Sheri is excited to tour a Farm program in Cambria this weekend and excited to share ideas with a fellow farm experience/education program.

Our goal is to network with like minded educators in California and hoping for a visit to Tennessee and Texas too!

Working in our garden. The last few weeks our plants have died off and we are cleaning up the containers so we can start fresh.

The Summer heat really makes it hard.
We have learned which plants thrive in certain areas and which plants require more shade.

The ground squirrels or whatever critter it was ate our pumpkin and gourd vines 😭

As we continue meeting our Farm animal Friends this week…it’s natural for the children to develop a fondness for a particular animal on the Farm.

Today our group discussion naturally progressed to which animal was their favorite.
This led to drawing their favorite animal/animals and choosing the color/colors.

Ryder drew Spiderwebs…. Very creative!

Ms. Sheri’s favorite activities are the ones that the children initiate organically.

We have so many opportunities for this throughout our day.

Yesterday Ms. Sheri made homemade sourdough bread for one of our lunches this week.

We always make homemade butter to pair it with so today we made our butter.

We also visited our 6 goat friends and gave them treats.

Baaa Baaa black sheep have you any wool….?

We had a bag of lambs wool from Tommee and Babee being sheared.

The Wool feels very oily as there is a lot of lanolin in their coats.

We will be having the sheep sheared again soon.
