PARKING INFORMATION 💙🧡

We want to help everyone arrive, park, and get settled as smoothly as possible on event day! Please review the attached parking map and the information below before arriving. Please note that there is a cut through between the park and the baseball fields (parking lots 4, 5, and 6). There will have signs and volunteers available to help guide you to the cut through.

We are aware that there is one main road in and out of the building that will be closed during the run. Because of this, there may be some traffic delays or limited access while the course is active.

‼️ If you anticipate needing to leave before the run is complete, please park in Parking Lot 4 or Parking Lot 5. These lots have connecting roads that will allow you to detour around the race route and exit if needed.

🏃 Course Marshal Volunteers:
To help us make the best use of our available parking, we ask that Course Marshals avoid Parking Lot 1 for volunteer check-in if you plan to drive to your assigned intersection. We would like to keep Lot 1 available for runners and volunteers who will be staying at that location for the duration of the event.

♿ Handicap/Accessibility Parking:
If you need handicap or accessibility accommodations, our parking volunteers will be available to assist you. Please let them know when you arrive, and they can help coordinate a transport cart to get you where you need to go.

We also want to extend a special thanks to Calera schools and New Life Assembly of God for allowing us to use these parking areas and for helping us make this event possible. We truly appreciate your support!

New route!

IMPORTANT COURSE UPDATE! 🏁

We have a NEW race route for Saturday!

It’s a big weekend in Calera! Along with the Bowman James Legacy 5K, Fun Run and People’s Choice Car Show, the Calera Alumni Reunion is also taking place.

To be courteous to everyone attending both events—and to make race morning as safe and smooth as possible—we have adjusted our race route.

The new route allows traffic to detour around the race and moves our START & FINISH away from busy parking areas.

Sharing just as a reminder for this weekend, Saturday, 09/19/2026.

Come early and cheer on the runners. The roads will be blocked around 8:15 am, and they are hoping to be through around 9:30 am. This is Third Street/Cale Switch, the road between the school and Calera Baptist Church.

Come early, show your bulldog spirit and cheer on the runners! 🐾💛🐾🖤🐾
