Dear Valley R-VI School District Community,

We want to make you aware that a student was confirmed to have bed bugs today. Upon confirmation, the district immediately initiated our established safety and sanitation protocols based upon input from our local health department. Appropriate steps are being taken to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

The safety and well-being of all students, staff, and community members is always our top priority. We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and support as we work to address this situation promptly and responsibly.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact your school office at 573-779-3900.
Thank you for your continued support of Valley R-VI School District.

Please take a few minutes to read the joint letter included to learn more about what is happening and how community members can stay engaged. Thank you Vikings!!!
