One of the greatest gifts we can give the next generation is a strong work ethic. In a world that often celebrates shortcuts, itās incredibly refreshing to see a child who is eager to work, willing to help, and takes pride in doing a job well.
This young man spent the entire day out in the Arkansas heat helping build the future home of Ohana Farms Microschool. Whether he was hauling materials, helping with equipment, digging, or doing whatever needed to be done, he never complained. He worked with a grateful heart, a servantās attitude, and genuine excitement to be part of something bigger than himself.
More than anything, he took pride in knowing he was helping build the future of our school. Years from now, heāll be able to look around this campus and say, āI helped build this.ā Thatās something no one can ever take away from him.
These are exactly the kinds of young people we hope to raise at OFMSāchildren who understand that hard work is honorable, serving others is valuable, and taking ownership of a task builds both character and confidence. We want to cultivate kids who arenāt afraid to get their hands dirty, who see work as a privilege instead of a burden, and who give their best with thankful hearts.
Character is built one shovel full, one wheelbarrow load, and one act of service at a time.
We couldnāt be more proud of this young man and the example heās setting. The future is bright when itās being built by kids like him.
