We get a fair number of questions about MHF Report Cards. There is definitely more to this report card than meets the eye!

This year, the 4th annual edition captures 224 bills and produce scores for all Michigan legislators. That’s a lot of information for one tri-fold. We thank all those who reached out with questions, and welcome yours in the comments.

"These are the frequently asked questions, with our answers.

Q. How can I use the Report Card? I’m not really political, I don’t have that many political friends.
A. MHF is nonpartisan. We believe that each of us benefits from stopping bills that make healthcare expensive and complicated."

It's very simple.
Do NOT make healthcare more expensive or complicated.
Every candidate should be willing commit to that, right?
It's a no-brainer.
The low bar, of all low bars.
It shouldn't even need to be said, it's so simple.

Saturday's parade launch went great - over 2000 distributed to a patriotic, good-sized crowd, their moods ranging from curious to enthusiastic to (very few) suspicious. The kids of course just wanted the candy. 😂

The patriotic citizens of Dorr, Michigan are anticipating tomorrow's parade with evident eagerness.
Yards and roadsides of those blessed to live along the parade route are festooned with lawn chairs, deck chairs, blankets, towels, tent stakes, pop-up vendor tent frames, fence stakes, and yellow caution tape, perhaps filched from the nearest crime scene.
Because it's 4th of July weekend and who would dream of committing crime on America's birthday?
Especially when there's a parade to prepare for!
Oh, and flags. Flags everywhere, of every size and pole type.
We are ready, by the way.
The MHF float is complete, staged and ready for early-morning takeoff 2 miles up the road from its designated line-up point.
The Report Cards are ready but NOT loaded on to the float, because rain was forecast overnight.
In fact, a rip-roaring T-storm just rolled through, so we're congratulating ourselves on keeping these treasures of civic knowledge safely stored indoors.

Maple-glazed cinnamon roll, Eclair, Ban Ket, Cherry pastry, chocolate long john, Raisin bagel with cinnamon cream cheese, and chocolate cupcake.... WOW.

Thanks to Zeeland Bakery, last night's volunteers were well fortified to prep MHF Report Cards for the Dorr 4th of July Parade. 😋💪
