"Saludos Hermanos,

I wanted to take a moment to officially introduce myself. My name is Alan Miguel Mares-Green, and I crossed at the Beta Phi Chapter at Northeastern Illinois University in Spring 2022. I currently have the honor of serving as your Midwest Governor.

A little about me: I spent nearly ten years working in the culinary industry. I later returned to school, earning my associate degree from the City Colleges of Chicago, my Bachelor of Social Work from NEIU (where I crossed), and my Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from UIC. I was born in Mexico and raised on the South Side of Chicago.

In addition to serving as Midwest Governor, I currently serve as President of the Illinois Alumni Association"

This past weekend, Hermanos Gabriel, Dante and Joey completed the 2021 Hot Chocolate 15k run in downtown Chicago.

THE WINTRUST BANK LATINX COMMUNITY AWARDS were held earlier this month at the company's headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois.

We would like to congratulate our Hermano, Franklin Ortega whom received an award. Hermano Franklin is the Manager of the Waubonsee Community College Latinx Resource Center at the downtown Aurora campus!
